At juneberryplace, candles are our love language. I believe that home fragrances should be more than just a pleasant scent. They should be an extension of your personal style and self care, while enhancing the ambiance of your space. That's why I've created a brand that is minimal, clean, and sophisticated. To me, this aesthetic is not just a passing trend. It reflects the need for simplicity and calmness in our homes.
our beginnings
Amidst adjusting to life in 2020, I found myself yearning for a new artistic outlet. Something that would get me back into my creative roots. I've always kept candles in my home because I enjoy the ambiance and comfort they provide, so I set out to learn as much as I could about creating them myself.
I immediately fell in love with the mix of art and science creating a candle provided. My creations gave my house that same comfortable and welcome feeling I'd always come to love, and most exciting was that I made them by hand with my own artistic flare.
Growing up in a family with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, my new goal became to to learn everything I could about candle making and launch my own business. And having been on this journey for some time now, I am still intrigued by the mix of art, science, crafting and creativity that I am able to experience every day with juneberryplace.
juneberryplace home fragrances launched in September 2022 with our first signature product - wood wick candles. carefully crafted and hand-poured, our soy blend candles capture a modern and sophisticated aesthetic.

Hello to all my fragrance loving friends! I'm Lyssa, Owner + Creator of juneberryplace home fragrances. Here's a little bit about who is designing and making your favorite home fragrance products:
The name juneberryplace was inspired by my daughter, Violet June, who brings so much joy and laughter into my life.
This busy mamma's fuel of choice? Coffee. Always coffee. It's my blood type.
Previous artistic hobbies of mine have been musical performance and nature photography.
I still work a full-time day job - I'm a woman who wears many hats!
I'm confident and assertive, and I'm not afraid to speak my mind when it comes to my passions and beliefs.
When I need a superhero boost, I turn to none other than Wonder Woman.
And if you ever catch me without my sunglasses, something's amiss - I can't leave the house without them. And at night they double as a headband.
